Erica il Cane ha sido uno de los artistas mas colaborativos en las calles de Europa durante los ultimos cinco años; es conocido por plasmar temas existenciales relacionados con animales, quienes la mayor parte del tiempo actuan como seres humanos.

Actualmente está exhibiendo su obra en Fifty24sf, California, que lleva por título “We were living in the woods”.

Erica il Cane has been a more collaborative artists on the streets of Europe during the last five years, is known for capturing existential issues related to animals, which most of the time act like human beings.

He is currently exhibiting his work in Fifty24sf, California, entitled “We were living in the woods.”

Este proyecto es una recopilación de 105 artistas a quienes se les pidió que aportaran una ilustración o intervinieran bolsas hechas 100% de algodón, para ayudar a “Hudson River Sloop Clearwater”, una organización de Nueva York dedicada a la educación y a la protección medioambiental.

Se les dieron sus respectivas bolsas a cada artista y se exhibieron en el 2007 en la galería “Open Space” en Nueva York, y de las ventas generadas, Open Space donó el 90% a dicha organización.

Es un proyecto interesante porque se complementan: el cuidado ambiental, la propuesta gráfica del artista y la beneficencia; todo en una “Tote Bag”! Actualmente las pueden conseguir por internet y cuestan 100 dls. Por cierto, ya no quedan muchas : (.

This project is a collection of 105 artists who were requested to provide an illustration or intervene bags made from 100% cotton, to help “Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, a New York organization dedicated to education and environmental protection.

They gave their bags to each artist and was exhibited in 2007 at the gallery “Open Space” in New York, and sales generated, Open Space 90% donated to that organization.
