De Lisboa, Margarida tiene un excelente gusto en mixed-media: combina elegantemente elementos femeninos, geométricos, texturas y color. Sus collages han sido publicados en revistas, anuncios y hasta han sido utilizados como decoración de interiores. Vale la pena ver el resto de su portafolio, donde refleja a la figura humana como principal medio de expresión.

Polly transforma cosas que podrían parecer basura para algunos en collages 3D; con un grado de humor y representación bastante profesional. Por ejemplo, la segunda imagen habla de los estereotipos de genero y la tercera refleja excelente al género Folk. Es muy interesante saber que cualquier material, apoyado de talento e iniciativa, puede resultar en propuestas únicas para clientes como Absolut, Sony o Rolling Stone.

Mary K McDevitt, con un estilo simple pero muy expresivo, ilustra ideas simpáticas que, entre sus letras a mano y los trazos infantiles-espontáneos, generan el mensaje correcto, y nos hacen reir un rato. También realiza pequeños pizarrones para “metas diarias”, muy útiles y con un toque vintage. La pueden encontrar en Etsy.

Es interesante la manera en la que se muestran estos iconos vintage, ilustrados con un estilo muy “retro”, pero dejando que el estilo de Christine Berrie logre una sensación de viveza y actualidad inesperada. Me fascina su realismo expresivo  : )

It’s interesting the way in which these vintage icons are displayed , illustrated with a very “retro”, but to allow Christine Berrie style achieves a sense of liveliness and unexpected present. I love the expressive realism:)
